Jill Howell is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Child Development and Family Relations. She is currently employed with the Wayne County Public School as a Family and Consumer Science teacher, where she teaches at her alma mater, Charles B Aycock High School in Pikeville ,NC. Jill was Miss Wilson in 1996, Miss Goldsboro in 1998 and Miss Kinston -Lenoir County in 2001. Jill’s most cherished title is being “Mama” to her two sons Christian (13) and Cameron (7). She attends First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Goldsboro, where she sings in the choir. Jeremiah 29:11 “ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” , is a scripture that she holds close in her heart . “I remember singing and preaching on my parents fireplace hearth at the age of 4 and I am blessed that God has granted me the opportunity to share His love and grace many years later”.
